I realize that I haven’t been posted much about the Ukuleleorkesteret since we started up about two years ago (?).
We are a very serious orchestra, interpreting the classics for a ukulele format… as you can see in the video.
Teslagrad Teaser Trailer (Official trailer 2: Mood)
Posted by Jorn Lavoll in Music, Teslagrad on May 29, 2013
A lot of videos of “Teslagrad” is starting to pop up on youtube.
Linn Kathrin Taklo and I are composing the music for this super atmospheric’y game. (It’s a million degrees here in Norway to day, I can’t think of proper words in english).
Also check out this gameplay preview from Greenlight: http://youtu.be/5nkBZAxJJOU
And enjoy our “sound” that we has created for this game. We are aiming for a “semi-classical + steampunk + lofi + a little bit of folk” feel 🙂

“as long as..” – preview of a new song by Haap
Posted by Jorn Lavoll in Haap, Music on May 8, 2013
Another preview of one of the songs from the upcoming Haap album. This bit is from near the end of the song, and check the belting power of both Heidi and guest vocalist Chris Lund!
The music has already gone through a couple of revisions since I made this video, like the guitars don’t sound like this anymore etc… But I think you will get an idea of how fantastic these two singers sound together 🙂
the bridge – early preview of new Haap song

My old controller keyboard that I still use in the studio is a Roland XP-30 with some expansions.
On the “vintage synth” expansion board is a sound that by itself is a reason never to get rid of that keyboard.
It is an Oberheim style pad sound that for me is simply the perfect pad sound. it is featured heavily in this upcoming Haap song.
I should really get aroudn to programming some variations of that sound. it is really “dark” and “heavy”, and it would be great to have some variations that are more “airy” and perhaps with a slightly faster attack.
Anyways, enjoy this preview of the beautiful Haap song “The Bridge”… it is still work in progress, but you will get a good impression of it.
